Wood floors have a lots of stories to tell us, and if you are good listening person, they can be instructive, entertaining and warm fuel for inspiration. When the floor is old, the story often deals with deadlines, work conditions, delays - waiting for another trades to tidy up the area. Marks often leave  a bad feeling on your floors and memories that can be changed with a sanding process! Wooden floors are made from the most beautiful material of all the time. With years there are things that changes it's vision it might be the protective finish may wear off or else but whatever it is a sanding process is a great option of a renovation.  This is one of the main reasons for renovating your hardwood floors, and most of the time it turns out that they become much more tidy and shiny than when they were originally installed! PINE: Pine is a softwood which grows in most areas of the Northern Hemisphere. There are more than 100 species worldwide. Properties: Pine is a soft, white or pale yellow wood which is light weight, straight grained and lacks figure.It resists shrinking and swelling. Knotty pine is often used for decorative effect. Uses: Pine is often used for country or provincial furniture. Pickled, whitened, painted and oil finishes are often used on this wood. ASH: There are 16 species of ash which grow in the eastern United States. Of these, the white ash is the largest and most commercially important. Properties: Ash is a hard, heavy, ring porous hardwood. It has a prominent grain that resembles oak, and a white to light brown colour. We can give you a estimate over the phone or via email if you have the dimensions, as We work on a rate per sq meter or sq yard the estimate will allow for minor repairs,sanding and finishing with three coats of varnish. If the price quoted seems reasonable, We will then visit your home to look at the floor and discuss your thoughts, concerns and ideas for the project.
